A rollout training for specialized Gender Based Violence (GBV) counseling training providers was conducted by the National Commission for Women and Children (NCWC) in collaboration with United Nations Children Fund (UNICEF) on May 9th and 10th, 2022. The main objectives of the training were to institutionalize GBV as an essential service and ensure implementation of the GBV standard operating procedures. A total of 28 school guidance counselors and Pyscho-social focals from schools under Thimphu Dzongkhag attended the training program.
