We would like to take the opportunity to thank the outgoing Chief of Police, Brigadier Kipchu Namgyal for the enormous and unprecedented contribution to NCWC's endeavours. The Royal Bhutan Police, under Dasho's leadership has made landmark reforms to ensure the rights of women and children in Bhutan. Amidst many, establishment of Women and Child Protection Division/Unit/Desk, various partnership programs to meaningfully engage youth and children, the Friends of Police, integrating women and child friendly procedures into the mainstream police training modules are some significant achievements.
